Our Mission

The mission of the IMPACT program is to engage University of Georgia students in an affordable, week-long, substance-free, experiential service learning project that encourages an understanding of pressing social issues in an effort to create active citizens.

Organization of the Year

2017-2018 Organization of the Year

(SOAR) on April 5th! This recognition is given to the student
organization which, through its activities and  programs, has a

A little history...

IMPACT Service Breaks started in 1994 as Alternative Spring Break (ASB) with a group of University of Georgia  students who wanted to  show that service is truly "love made visible."  From there, we have continued to grow, now hosting 25 trips across the Eastern coast of the United States for about 500 students during winter and spring breaks.
