Serving Athens

“Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It’s the way in which we ourselves grow and develop. ” – Dorothy Heights
Every year, IMPACT works with community partners around Athens, which are the cornerstone of our effort to create active citizens. Every trip serves with a community partner before departing in order to develop a sense of how their topic applies in the Athens community and how they can make an impact.

If you come back from your trip and are feeling inspired to get involved, see the list below containing our community partners, other local organizations, and how to get started.
